　　CCTV News:On the afternoon of April 24th, the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council held a press conference to introduce the situation of strengthening the assistance to the rural poor. At the meeting, Wu Hua, the first-class inspector of the Development Guidance Department of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, said that the poverty alleviation office would encourage poor laborers to choose employment methods flexibly, and the poverty alleviation office would give priority to the adjustment and arrangement of projects to promote employment and increase the income of poor farmers.

　　Wu Hua pointed out that in view of the difficulties faced by the current poverty alleviation projects, the Poverty Alleviation Office has taken a series of measures, including speeding up the disbursement of funds, the green channel of engineering projects, and dynamically adjusting poverty alleviation projects. As of April 10th, the number of poverty alleviation projects started at 281,000, and the operating rate of the projects reached 74.1%, and the work of tackling poverty in various places was promoted in an orderly manner.

　　Wu Hua said that there are not only cross-provincial employment channels for the poor labor force. "We encourage cross-provincial employment and local employment, and we encourage poor farmers to participate in the implementation of these poverty alleviation projects." There are mainly the following channels for the local employment of poor laborers:

　　First, local poverty alleviation workshops and leading poverty alleviation enterprises can resume work, and some poor laborers can be absorbed to participate in the work;

　　Second, local entrepreneurs become rich leaders, driving poor laborers to find jobs and start businesses;

　　The third is to set up special posts for poverty alleviation. The posts of ecological forest rangers, roadside guards and cleaning staff set up by the poverty alleviation office can drive 3 million poor laborers to find jobs nearby.

　　Fourth, all kinds of agriculture-related projects will involve some local people, including poor laborers.
