On December 3, the local education bureau issued a circular saying that there were problems in the teaching content of "Female Durban" in the school, and asked it to stop running the school immediately and dismiss the students.
Quotations of female Durban exposed to thunder
Education Bureau: Stop running schools and dismiss students.
Recently, online videos have exposed some shocking quotations from Durban, a woman from Fushun, Liaoning Province, including "Women who order takeout without washing dishes are not obedient to women", "Women should talk less, work more and keep their mouths shut" and "Women should not go up, but should be at the bottom". In the video, students also scrubbed the pit and said that their hearts were dirtier than it, and the behavior of kowtowing in front of the public also caused controversy.
Beijing Youth Daily reporter found that in April 2011, with the approval of Fushun Civil Affairs Bureau, Fushun Traditional Culture Research Association was formally established, which is a public welfare mass organization, and its predecessor was Baoentang, which was established in 2010. Fushun Traditional Culture Education School was founded by the Institute, and its president Kang Jinsheng is also the president of the Institute. Previously, Fushun Civil Affairs Bureau said in an interview with the media that it only approved the establishment of Fushun Traditional Culture Research Association, but did not approve the establishment of Fushun Traditional Culture Education School.
On the morning of December 3, Kang Jinsheng, the principal of the school, responded to the recently controversial video content through WeChat. The statement denied that the school advocated gender inequality, calling it "advocating family harmony and happiness".
At 8: 00 on December 3rd, Fushun Education Bureau made a report on this matter: In response to the netizen’s report that Fushun Traditional Culture Education School opened "Female Durban", the city set up a multi-department joint investigation team for the first time. After investigation, Fushun Traditional Culture School started classes privately in Majin Village, Huiyuan Township, Shuncheng District, outside the examination and approval place, which violated the provisions of Article 62 of the Law on the Promotion of Private Education. There is a problem in the teaching content of "Female Durban" that goes against social morality.
According to the circular, after research, it was decided that the unlicensed school-running institution in Majin Village would immediately stop running schools and all students, including "Female Durban", would be dismissed as soon as possible. The education department will draw inferences from other departments, quickly carry out city-wide investigations, resolutely ban illegal school-running training institutions, and resolutely put an end to the recurrence of phenomena that violate socialist core values.
Female Durban students:
The teacher declared that "men are superior to women"
It is understood that some female Durban students were sent to reform by their families, and some were sent to training by the company.
Wang Shanshan (not her real name), a netizen sent by the company for training, said that in April 2015, she worked as an intern in a real estate company and was told to attend the "seven-day closed training course for women’s classical ethics". She thought it was to learn Chinese culture, burn incense and taste tea, talk about poetry and piano, etc., but she didn’t expect to go to a remote place, and the iron gate of the building was locked by thick chains.
After 7 days of closed training, she was asked to be a vegetarian and not to talk, because "disaster comes from her mouth", and she used notes for communication. Moreover, these notes should be collected and burned, because the words are noble and should be respected, and they cannot be disposed of together with other garbage. "From 5: 30 in the morning to 9: 30 in the evening, you are not allowed to talk. When you talk, someone will come and bow to you 90 degrees."
According to Wang Shanshan’s memory, there were students, white-collar workers, middle school teachers and female entrepreneurs who had unfortunate experiences such as divorce and abortion. The school teachers attributed these to their own sins, such as lack of filial piety, virtue and chastity, and only by believing in their ancestors could they be saved. Some teachers even said, "Men are superior to women, and men have been practicing for 500 years longer than women. The most important task of women is to carry on the family line, and teenagers worship idols ‘ Sucking brain marrow ’ If you have cancer, your ancestors will be fine. "
Fushun Traditional Culture Education School, which runs Durban for women, also has branches in Zhengzhou, Wenzhou and Sanya. At the same time, its principals and teachers are also invited to give public lectures on traditional culture all over the country.
In 2015, the school was invited to participate in a three-day public welfare forum on civic moral education in Fulaerji, Qiqihar. Li Qiqi (pseudonym), who attended the forum at that time, told the reporter of Beiqing Daily that there were about 1,500 spectators at that time. Seven or eight students showed their experiences on the forum. "They claimed to be murderers, extramarital affairs, gang bosses and patients. They all came on stage to tell their stories. At the end, they all said that learning Disciples Rules made them good people." Li Qiqi said that there were children and elderly people who repented. Some went to the stage to observe a few seconds of silence for Confucius on the curtain, kneeling directly and talking. Some came to the stage with their mother’s portrait.
Li Qiqi said that many people tell stories about their misfortunes, and the ending is hard to be related to Disciples’ Rules. "After the students shared it, the host asked who else had learned Disciples Rules better. A live audience came to the stage and said that they had come from other counties. She was possessed by evil diseases and her feet were rotten, but she got better after learning Disciples Rules. "
Yang Jiaxin’s (pseudonym) mother attended the closed class of Fushun Traditional Culture Education School.
According to Yang Jiaxin, "that class told women to do housework at home. My mother told me after school that women should wait on their husbands at home and should not go out to work. It is immoral for women to engage in business. " In the eyes of my father, my mother has become virtuous. But Yang Jiaxin felt something was wrong when she listened to her mother’s words, and thought that this kind of study class was brainwashing.

Who started Durban for women?
Behind the female Durban, what kind of institution is Fushun Traditional Culture Education School, and who is Kang Jinsheng, the principal widely praised by students? The reporter of Beiqing Daily investigated this.
Tens of thousands of students have opened various classes.
Fushun Traditional Culture Education School was founded by Fushun Traditional Culture Research Association, with Kang Jinsheng as the principal and the president of the research association. There are two study places in the seminar, namely "Civic Morality Lecture Hall" in the city and Fushun Traditional Culture Education School in Majin Village, Huiyuan Township, and classes such as Disciple’s Rules, Four Disciplines for Disciples, Women’s Virtue, and Taishang Induction are set up to recruit students for the whole country. In addition, the school also offers full-time schools, including kindergarten classes, primary schools and junior high schools for children aged two and a half to six, requiring participants to have their parents to volunteer.
Before the school was ordered to close, the 79th closed class of Disciples Rules, which was originally scheduled to start from December 20th to 27th, was recruiting students aged between 20 and 60. According to statistics, since its establishment, the school has run 78 classes of Disciples’ Rules, 36 classes of Women’s Morality and 14 classes of Four Disciples, with tens of thousands of students.
Claiming that the funds come from students’ donations and business.
According to Kang Jinsheng, the principal of the school, in the propaganda video, the school’s funding source is mainly student donations. Kang Jinsheng claimed that Fushun Traditional Culture and Education School contracted 60 mu of land to grow organic food and vegetables, and set up a nourishing vegetarian restaurant to feed more than 300 people in the school every day. The school also opened a Tang suit workshop, which sews Tang suit costumes by hand for students and traditional cultural groups all over the country to order, and also sells them through Taobao and WeChat. The Tang suit worn by the students in the closed class is also purchased from this, and a Tang suit jacket costs more than 200 yuan. There are nearly 200 volunteers in the school, serving various classes, vegetarian restaurants and Tang Zhuang Fang.
According to media investigation, there are 8 companies under Kang Jinsheng’s name, 1 company has been cancelled, 3 companies have been revoked, and 4 companies still exist. Among them, Fushun Changle Embroidery Factory, Fushun Shuncheng Baoen Tangzhuang Factory and Fushun Taogong Cultural Industry Development Co., Ltd. were founded after the establishment of Fushun Traditional Culture Research Association.
Kang Jinsheng claimed to be a gangster businessman.
According to Kang Jinsheng’s self-report in the lecture, he sold fakes in his early business and went to the underworld in order to do business. In the 1980s, he just started to sell fake fabrics. When customers returned goods, they threatened each other. If they couldn’t help it, they started to fight. If there were competitors in the market, they beat people away. After selling the annual leave cloth for a year, no one bought it, and began to sell fake cosmetics. Until 1997, the money he earned in business had been squandered. When a friend gave him CDs and books to promote traditional culture, Kang Jinsheng began to contact Disciple Rules and decided to turn over a new leaf. In 2008, together with an entrepreneur in Fushun, he funded a training course for the disciples of the Baoentang in the city center.
