In the early morning of July 21st, Tencent announced that it would donate 100 million yuan to help Henan in flood fighting and disaster relief.
In the past week, Tencent Charity Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Tencent Foundation) has joined forces with 10 charitable organizations and more than 140 rescue teams to carry out the "Tencent Emergency Rescue Action for Flood in Henan", and continuously carried out disaster relief and rescue work in various parts of Henan where the disaster was serious.
At present, Tencent Foundation has donated to 10 charitable organizations, including Henan Charity Federation, and allocated 81 million yuan for material support, emergency rescue, home reconstruction, and assistance to people in need.

 According to the data released by Tencent, the specific use of 81 million yuan is as follows:
1, 20 million yuan for front-line rescue, material and drug distribution.
The donation of 20 million yuan to the Henan Charity Federation was uniformly allocated by the Henan Charity Federation according to the provincial flood control and drought relief headquarters, and the funds were allocated to the front line to carry out rescue, purchase emergency materials and distribute medicines.
2, 10 million for rescue and post-disaster reconstruction.
Donate 10 million yuan to the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation for a series of emergency rescue work, such as the rescue operation carried out by the National Dawn Rescue Alliance and the work-for-work home cleaning project.
3, 10 million for the relief and resettlement of the affected people.
Donate 10 million yuan to the China Red Cross Foundation to support the China Red Cross Foundation in recruiting key members of rescue teams and water rescue teams from all over the country to carry out rescue, transfer and resettlement work for the affected people in Henan.

Donated 8 million yuan to China Social Welfare Foundation to support its emergency response, and sent 10 rescue teams to transfer more than 4,000 people in Zhengzhou Xingyang, Xinxiang Mu Ye, Hebi Xunxian and other places (as of July 25th).
65 million yuan is used for personnel rescue and evacuation.
After receiving 5 million yuan of relief money donated by Tencent Foundation, China Social Relief Foundation urgently started the joint rescue work for floods in Henan Province, and jointly mobilized Yanzhao, Handan Zhong ‘an Emergency Rescue Team, Henan Anyang Emergency Rescue Team, Henan Huixian Emergency Rescue Team, Tangxian Tang Yao Rescue Team and Handan Mountain Emergency Rescue Team to carry out emergency rescue and material distribution in Xinxiang and Anyang, Henan Province, and transferred, evacuated and rescued more than 5,100 people.

Allocate 5 million yuan to China Children’s and Teenagers’ Foundation for the purchase of children’s household necessities including children’s emergency kits and rice flour oil;
Allocate 5 million yuan to the China Population Welfare Foundation for post-disaster reconstruction of primary medical institutions and post-disaster psychological assistance.
According to Tencent, the above 81 million yuan donation has been completed.
The remaining 19 million donations will be mainly used for post-disaster home reconstruction support, digital rescue capacity improvement, and special assistance for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, women and children.
At the same time, Tencent will invest in online collaboration, cloud services and other products and technical capabilities, as well as private voluntary rescue insurance protection measures to support relevant public welfare organizations to build a digital information system for public welfare disaster relief. Digital capacity building will be carried out in the aspects of accurate synchronization of disaster information, effective docking of rescue resources and improvement of rescue efficiency, so as to provide technical assistance for resisting sudden natural disasters that may occur in the future.
